Assists with defensible space inspections of private residences within the Mt. Shasta City limits under the supervision of a company officer. Educates homeowners on defensible space, wildland fire safety/preparedness, and overall fire safety.
Facilitates and participates in a variety of public awareness activities to promote good public relations and fire safety awareness, including providing tours of fire facilities and giving presentations to schools as requested; responds to complaints and requests for information from the public and engages in public information activities.
