  • I worked here during some times of COVID so a lot of things changed. We had to bring all of the residents food on a cart and take it to their rooms. During the time in the kitchen I would make sure all of the boxes of food were made to order. Once I checked I would put them in the cart in order of the rooms we had to go to.
  • During COVID and this change I helped make a lot of changes of how to do things in order to make our day run smooth. Such as something small as putting the boxes in order in the carts. We used to just add them in whatever order. Making that small change of putting them in order of rooms made us save time in finding the food when we were at the rooms. Which meant wait time went down and our process went smooth. I started to check the boxes and also asked everyone else to do the same. We used to just trust the cooks and made sure they knew what include that was not always the case. When we all checked the boxes beforehand we saved time running up and down to the residents rooms and we also eliminated a lot of the calls saying we missed something.
  • I took on a lot od leadership in this job I helped a lot of make sure things ran smoothly it was easy job and it was nice to help give feedback to make things run smoothly.
  • I worked here during high school and worked almost everyday after school 4pm-10pm.Then during COVID I would work 7:30am-1:30pm since things were online for school, I would take a break to join my classes and then go back to work.
  • I would prep all the fruit cups, drinks, desserts, sides, and salads during my time I was not delivering food. I worked a lot of the mornings alone so I would have to do the all the prep work I soon became to enjoy it because I thrive with routine.
