Launch Vehicle Operations Technician II

  • Executed countless launch essential work orders of various mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems on the launch vehicle and support equipment that led to the successful launches and hot fires of NG-1 and NG-2
  • Completed several different ordinance installs on the launch vehicle. Including the AFTU, I5 Panel, and landing legs. All of which functioned flawlessly during both New Glenn launches/landing.
  • Subject Matter Expert, MSI certified, and modification/ repair qualified for Multi-Layer Insulation.
  • Ensured 24-hour coverage of capable technicians by teaching and granting 75 different certifications on scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and tugs for my colleagues in the past 4 months.
  • Performed SCAPE operations during hydrazine loading on NG-1 and for several weeks during HEM testing. Leading me to be one of the most requested technicians to assist with LC-12 SCAPE team.
  • Designated to be one of the few technicians to be certified on power application of the launch vehicle, IGS, and power racks to improve efficiency when the IF receives GS2.
