As a maintenance supervisor I am knowledgeable of building layouts and building systems functionality. Capable professional handling work without supervision. Very organized professional with excellent scheduling and leadership skills. I work hand in hand with the building manager to make sure work is being performed correctly and building is being maintained correctly. I also perform on- call duties on a rotation and being a supervisor I answer calls and texts when techs have questions or issues with calls that they can not handle on their own.
As the maintenance supervisor of a 335 apartment complex, some of my tasks include: Scheduling turn process of painters and cleaners to be completed within a week of a scheduled move out for potential new residents. Inspecting apartments for damages and charging accordingly. Performing turn tasks which include cleaning carpets with carpet extractors, fixing appliances as needed, cleaning drains and making the apartments look brand new. Supervisor tasks also include balancing a monthly material budget so my service techs have the materials and tools to perform jobs efficiently. I am in charge of scheduling 2 facilities cleaners, and 3 service techs daily to perform tasks from higher to lower priority. I am in charge of completing residents work orders within a day time window to keep them happy and potentially re sign leases. I have a strong knowledge of light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, grounds, painting and using hard floor cleaners and carpet extractors.
