- Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received in stock, or issued
- Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in orders
- Inspects articles and rejects defective ones

- Solvent clean parts using acetone, hexane, ethanol alcohol or illuminate to remove residual thermal grease, tape residues and ink per NGIS-HP-0049 procedure
- Frequently check and measure tubing dimensions against tubing drawing to verify not to abrade out of tolerance
- Contact supervisor, QA or program engineer if the abrading will exceed 0.001” per side
- Using a wire brush, clean out deposits that are tough to remove from external tubing grooves, holes and flanges
- For heat pipes only, weigh the unit and record in charge and weight log per applicable fabrication plan
- Cleaning of aluminum parts (fill tubes, end caps, wick assemblies reservoirs, saddles, etc.) and associated hardware for use in the heat pipe assemblies and capillary-pump loop systems
- Learned the process in many value streams within the business to assist in other areas
- Dedicated to working over core hours to ensure pipes where cleaned and processed as to not halt production
