This was a travel assignment, 13 weeks in length. I worked 7p to 7a. I was responsible for night time patient admission, assessments and medications utilizing CIWA and COWS protocols, as well as any emergencies that may have presented.
*Responsible for 20 plus bed unit of elderly gentlemen. Medication passes, emergency care and safe transport, wound care, Alzheimer's and dementia care. I left after ten months of employment only because I was offered a position at Berkshire Medical Center which was a great opportunity as a new nurse to increase my skill set.
