I took this part time position, (two 10 hr days a week) as I was transitioning out of my old job. I’m enjoying what I’m learning, but the job unfortunately does not provide what I need financially.
My responsibilities/skills for this role include:
I was genuinely interested in each of our patients, and I was determined to give them a good experience even when they were in pain and struggling. I was able to boost our reviews and gain more repeat patients by creating a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
I started working for Aldi in Potsdam, NY when Covid started. My original responsibilities included disinfecting carts and enforcing covid restrictions, including counting and controlling the volume of customers allowed in the store at one time. I was asked to join the team full time within a month, then within six months was asked to move up to a Lead Store Associate position, then I was being sent to multiple stores to help their teams. I moved to the Albany area at the end of 2021/beginning of 2022 and worked in Mass, Vermont, and finally NY where I was promoted to Assistant Store Manager.
I dedicated myself to providing excellent customer service, keeping my team happy and working together safely, and keeping everything neat, clean, fresh and signed. I operated pallet jacks and floor scrubbers, unloaded trucks, stocked pallets onto the floor, and spent time in the freezer and cooler sometimes for hours. I was always on my feet and running around.
This was my main job while I lived in the north country. I worked there for a short time before I was asked to become a supervisor. I had been asked to become the manager when the one we had was let go, but at the time I was considering different job options due to the amount of time I was dedicating. I was even encouraged to purchase and run the business when they wanted to sell and retire, but did not align with my future goals. However, this was a job I very much enjoyed, and I gained much experience here with a great mentor.
My responsibilities included-
Lowe's was an enjoyable job I took when I moved up to Potsdam, NY. It was a transitory job for me, but I gained skills and experience in my time there.
As a Warehouse Supply specialist for Bill Doran Company, I oversaw the prepping of everything that goes into a floral arrangement besides the fresh flowers.
