- Assisted in the preservation of artifacts by carefully handling, cataloging, and storing items according to museum guidelines.
- Utilized effective communication and problem-solving skills to quickly resolve customer issues.
- Answered various questions about train schedules, event run times etc.
- Managed the Snoqualmie Depot Book Store multiple days a week, answered phone calls and voicemails.
- Processed incoming shipments to the museum, confirming that the correct amount of product was sent.
- Assisted with yearly inventory counts.
- Made sure the sales floor was clean, dusted, and restocked throughout the day.
- Was 1/2 of the museums social media team, wrote themed posts for various socials.
- Acted as the station master and lead ticket agent for the North Bend Depot. This included handling cash and card sales, keeping groups of up to 120 safe as the train arrived, assisting those who needed help in boarding and de-training, occasionally dealing with dangerous situations and remaining calm throughout.
- Assisted in the planning and execution of major events such as the first annual Peak to Peak Express, a Twin Peaks themed wine tasting event featuring wines from Pursued by Bear and catering by Twede's Cafe.
- Project managed and recruited various food truck Vendor's for the museums Day Out With Thomas event, hosted by Mattel. This event has a yearly attendance of around 14,000 people a day for three weekends. This included securing business licenses for the city of Snoqualmie as well as insurance paperwork from each vendor.
- Inventoried and accessioned donations of books, small objects and other various ephemera.
- Networked with various organizations and created business connections.
- Pitched the idea of the museum being a Vendor for the Seattle Antiquarian Book Fair, once approved I was appointed manager for this project. we attended the 2023 fair as the first museum to do so striking a deal to knock 50% off of the vending prices for non-profit organizations.
