Admission and discharge on to a busy med surg floor. Performed physical examinations of patients, obtain medical histories, and coordinated with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans. Working from home, I assisted veterans in building medical evidence to obtain or increase their rating with the Veterans Affairs. I preformed assessments via phone and identified disabilities that they have and assisted them with creating the evidence that they needed to be successful when appling for benefits. I educated them on the Trajector Medical process and what they could expect moving forward.

Lead PM shift nurse at Lee State Prison. Prepare and administer ordered medications to offenders, daily rounds and monitoring of segregation unit, daily evaluation of COVID + offenders, preparation of medical records for upcoming appointments or transfers. Review of labs, lifting provider orders, and attending emergencies as they arise on the compound.

Charge Nurse for a 32-bed Crisis and detox unit. Managed 4-6 nurses, techs, and security personnel daily. Review of referrals and accepting of patients for the unit. Led group therapy when needed. Assisted in the admission and discharge process. Worked closely with social services to ensure a safe discharge for patients. Also preformed daily assessments, medication administration and assisted with telehealth appointments.

Evaluation for stability, medically and mentally, and admission of offenders upon arrival to the facility. Medication administration for jail and prison inmates, daily wound care and sick call for various illnesses and complaints. Education on diet and exercise and medication maintenance. Lab and chronic care coordinator for a population of approximately 500 offenders. Attend to emergencies as needed. Worked closely with providers and assisted in minor in office procedures. Traveled to other facilities when help or nursing coverage was needed. Responsible for monitoring supply levels and ordering supplies when needed.

LPN Supervisor of 3-11 shift on a 40-bed geriatric unit. Oversee CNA duties, monitoring VS, and daily charting on assigned patients. Wound care, catheter changes as ordered, feedings, medication administration via G Tube, nebulizer treatments, and PO medications. Weekly rounds with providers.
