My experience as a Charge/Treatment Nurse at Borderview entailed Nursing and Skilled Rehabilitation services to patients. As a Registered Nurse in this type of setting provided me with a comprehensive understanding of geriatric and skilled nursing care at different stages of life. In this role, I was responsible for the full spectrum of Registered Nurse duties, including the delivery of skilled rehabilitation services, comprehensive patient assessments, the development and implementation of individualized care plans, and the management of pain. My responsibilities encompassed a wide range of procedures, such as medication administration (including IV medications and enteral feedings via PEG tubes), phlebotomy, PICC line management, wound care, ostomy care, and the provision of CPAP and oxygen therapy. I consistently adhered to established protocols and collaborated effectively with primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and achieve their health goals.

Beyond the technical aspects of nursing, I take pride in my ability to connect with patients and their families, providing education and support throughout their care journey. I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse patient population, spanning a wide range of ages and backgrounds. This experience has instilled in me a deep commitment to compassionate and holistic care.

I am actively pursuing opportunities to expand my skillset and professional development. I am particularly interested in obtaining further experience and certifications to further enhance my capabilities and contribute even more effectively to a dynamic healthcare team.
