Accomplishments

Collaborated with team members in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Piedmont Athens Regional to design and implement developmental care in this unit. Treated neonatal infants and educated family members on care for their children while in the hospital and after discharge. Continued this on an outpatient basis as a developmental follow up clinic for children was formed for those who were born prematurely or who were at risk for developmental delays.


Mentored and educated numerous new staff members and students to increase their knowledge and skills in treating pediatric patients in outpatient rehabilitation.
