Serve as the Mayor’s appointed liaison in the South End and Bay Village communities
Advocate for residents, businesses, neighborhood organizations, and tourists regarding their concerns related to essential city services and other related issues
Facilitate community processes for, and advise the Mayor on, construction projects in need of relief from the Zoning Board of Appeals, Licensing Board, and Cannabis Board
Serve as mentor to incoming liaisons by providing guidance, support and constructive feedback for community meetings and all role responsibilities
Manage and oversee the Cannabis community process for applications in all neighborhoods
Distribute information pertinent to neighborhoods such as; public safety, housing stability, Covid-19 guidance, and other community related issues
Serve on-call coordinating responses from various city agencies to provide access to heating, electrical, and housing resources while addressing neighborhood crises
Network with local organizations, leaders and consumers, resulting in establishment of new and lasting partnerships and relationships
Distribute monthly community newsletters to convey important news and events to local families and leaders
Communicate with community members to assess concerns or current issues and identify corrective measures
