• Counseled complainants, respondents and attorneys regarding the Commission's procedures, requirements, federal and state laws; gathered position statements, responses and or other pertinent information, negotiated settlement and conciliation agreements, mediation, scheduled and referred to mediation, interviewed both the aggrieved, witnesses and third party if and when available, documented interviews and prepared as an analysis for possible recommendation, advised other professionals assisting with investigation and violation of laws, gathered analyzed documentation and submitted to the Legal Counsel for review, submitted recommendations based on evidence obtained through the course of the investigation, interviewed relevant credible witnesses, conducted onsite interviews with Human Resources professionals, attorneys to discuss the merits of cases, prepared cases for court hearings, completed assigned cases accurately and thoroughly according to standards, provided information and assistance regarding individual rights and employers to ensure compliance with relevant laws.
Schedules appointments in accordance to VHA Directive 1230; incuding cancelling, rescheduling and no show appointments and or consults.
Reviews Daily consults, Electronic Waiting List (EWL) Return to Clinic Orders (Query from VS GUI)
Enters appropriate patient actions; check-in check out and no shows
Extract medical information from electronic records when requested by Providers, Social Workers, Nurses amd Supervisors while maintaining HIPPA standards.
Receives and directs patients and visitors in person and by telephone, answering routine inquiries.
Verify and updates patient demographics to include capturing insurance data.
Ensures patient encounters are completed for clinics assigned by the end of each day.
Monitors and maintains the Electronic Waiting List (EWL), insurance buffer
Process Beneficiary Travel vouchers
Assist patients with Kiosk check-ins
Coordinate patient transportation and or other travel concerns with VeteransTransportation Sevice and Bene-Travel Staff
