Supply Chain Analyst for the CPDC pilot plant, scaling new products from lab to small batch production, as well as for a larger chemical building with large batch products. Highlights of my main functions include:

• Daily Tier 1 and 2 meetings with production & engineering. Weekly Tier 3 meeting participation.
• Daily review of sales orders; reviewing BOMs & SOPs & procuring raw materials for required products. Working with engineering on SOP sign off before production.
• Providing weekly feedback on any late sales orders.
• Staging materials for required production runs.
• Production scheduling & crew scheduling for 2 and 3 shift buildings
• Prioritization meetings with various business units and executives.
• Working with corporate sourcing on supply chain issues that come up.
• Monthly review of dead, slow and excess raw materials; entering disposition plans into network.
• Arranging shipment of sales orders as production completes.
• Writing SOPs and cleaning data for SAP implementation, as well as other tasks as needed.

• Inventory analysis and reporting on US finished goods inventory levels and sales data in field.
• Facilitating partnership among business unit partners including Customer Care, Sales Operations and Global Supply Chain. Align to create inventory targets, re-positioning of inventory and reduce obsolescence.
• Creating reporting and communication of delivery issues, asset management reporting, field sales feedback, inventory reduction objectives and regulation requirements such as quarterly stent scans.
• Create tools for Customer Care agents to use while keying product orders to ensure compliance of Medtronic owned product and their respective guidelines.
• Create scorecards on various objectives.
• Partner with business units to develop product launch plans, create training and information in Customer Care and provide required reporting to meet launch plan.

• Assisted senior project managers with tracking costs, tasks and communication to and from the end customer for several multi-million dollar projects.
• Managed document control center for all incoming and outgoing blueprints, engineering documents, purchasing, quality and the set up and delivery of SOP and Quality Manuals. Documents and drawings were transmitted to and from many departments, vendors and the end customer.
• Worked closely with purchasing, engineering and the manufacturing shop to keep tasks on target and get information and tasks completed on schedule.
• Extensive travel, worked on project in Northern Alberta for 4 months (20 days away, 6 days home rotation), witnessed co-generation plant start up with field engineer in Brampton, Ontario.

• Reviewing and adjusting inventory levels for both raw and finished goods.
• Generating and maintaining capacity report (daily and weekly) and holding weekly meeting to update sales and production. Developing Demand versus Capacity tools.
• Creating and maintaining shop floor work orders for large projects.
• Project management includes getting new products out of research and development. Working with engineering, sales, production, testing and purchasing to get product on a regular schedule and out to customers. Leader, issue tracker, accelerates development.
• Multi-factory Planning - Overseeing all aspects of a new facility in Suzhou, China, including shipment of raw materials, production plan for finished goods, and handling all logistics of shipments.

• Working with quality team to write SOP’s for purchasing and receiving inspection and implementation of new quality system.

• Forecasting several thousand items for 7 Distribution centers and placing purchase orders as needed.
• Ensuring that there are no lost sales (97% or better service level) while also keeping inventory at budgeted levels.
• Tracking and making adjustments for ads and coupon books.
• Handling customer service calls, placing specialty item orders, forward buys, end of period sales.
• Analyzing several reports daily including ad recaps, seasonal item recaps, lost sales, purchase order details, inventory reports and store adjustments (Cub, Coburns, SuperTarget, Dan’s, Supervalu, Hornbachers etc.)
