Equestrian October 2010 - Current

• Proficient in horse handling with experience riding in both English and Western styles.
• Competed on the University of Arizona Equestrian Club Team (2018-2021).

Dairy Cow Expereince October 2023 - Current

• Perform artificial insemination (AI) and conduct rectal palpation to check for pregnancy.
• Disbudd calves, collect laboratory samples, and conduct banded neuters.
• Assist in the treatment of sick cows, addressing conditions such as abscesses and dystocia.

Beef Cattle Pregnancy Assessment March 2024 - Current

• Utilize a hydraulic chute to perform pregnancy checks on cows through palpation, ultrasound, and blood testing.

Equine Veterinary Experience April 2024 - Current

• Assist in the evaluation and management of colic cases, including performing rectal palpation and observing clinical procedures.
• Practice applying standing wraps and assessed horses for lameness.
• Auscultate gut sounds and took temperature, pulse, and respiration (TPR) measurements.
• Watch colic surgery.
• Preform radiographs and ultrasound exams on distal limbs and abdomen.
• Place IV catheter, draw blood, and administer vaccines.
• Pass a Nasogastric tube.

Small Animal Veterinary Experience: August 2024 - Current

• Preform spay surgeries on dogs while being supervised by a DVM.
• Preform spay surgeries on cats while being supervised by a DVM.
• Conduct physical exams, vaccinate, and prescribe treatments to underprivileged animals while being supervised by a DVM.

Equine Acupuncture September 2024 - Current 

• Practice acupuncture examinations and diagnosis.
• Place acupuncture needles into horses after making appropriate diagnosis.

Piglet Processing October 2023 - March 2024

• Clipped needle teeth, administered vaccines, and performed supervised neutering procedures.

Equine Necropsy December 2023 - February 2024

• Conducted thoracic spine radiographs, practiced spinal tap and exploratory surgery, refined suture techniques, and assessed hoof and laminae anatomy.
