To work in an environment which encourages me to succeed and teach me how to grow in reaching bigger opportunities is something Avery Dennison has shown me is possible.

I think this would be a huge opportunity to grow. not only as a personal knowledge trait but career wise and a way to grow with the company. I think it would be an awesome success story as well as a motivation to others with similar backgrounds and females to take the chance on doing something many wouldn't expect to fill this position. I have not ever filled a maintenance position anywhere but I have had several jobs which required the same problem solving skills as a maintenance worker would have. For example, I have worked for a company called Pridgeon and Clay located in Franklin, Indiana, my duties included setting up welding robots and having to read the blueprints/ programming to make sure they were running properly. i then transitioned into a higher position which was running a steel press. I was the very first female to learn to program the robots by handheld computerized system. i have been asked in person from the owner of the company if i would take the opportunity to be sent to school in grand rapids michigan to learn more about running new equipment that they were going to be bringing in..unfortunatly covid happened and they lost one of their major customers ( FORD) and that kind of went out the window to save cost. I am a quick learner and have always been a hands-on learner. I have always found machinery and automobiles fascinating. I have faced many hardships in life and have overcome battles I didn't expect to concour and I know if given the opportunity to be a part of this training and given the chance to grow. I would not be a disappointment and would love to share my success story with the help of avery dennison.
