  • Ensure safe and secure environment in preschool and children’s building through developing and implementing plans for drop-off, pick-up, and check-in
  • Review, select and provide appropriate curriculum for Sunday School, Sunday evening, and Wednesday night programming
  • Created and wrote Wednesday night programming: M3 (Missions, Movement, Music)
  • Direct planning, conducting, and evaluation of programming for preschool and children's ministry
  • Develop and conduct special events and programs for children. Activities include fellowships, retreats, mission. trips, and personal growth activities
  • Help lead and coordinate Upward basketball and cheer. The program ran 200 + kids each year.
  • Annual events that are the responsibility of the Children’s Minister are as follows: Vacation Bible School, Kids Camp, Connect Camps, State Convention Events, Children and Youth fundraisers for summer activities (with Student Minister), Leading Trainings for church events and Statewide Convention trainings (VBS Trainings and Childhood Education Workshops)
  • Provide Parent/Child Dedication for families with new babies twice a year, Lead New Believer's Class throughout year
  • Provide spiritual training and leadership to parents of preschoolers and children through Milestone 1 Seminar
  • Develop, distribute, and update policies and procedures for preschool and children’s departments
