As a clinical nurse educator, I was responsible for all classes including care skills, medication administration and dementia training. I also had the opportunity to facilitate training within the work environment. I worked with unlicensed personnel to ensure pertinent transfer of care.

• In this home based position, I accepted phone calls from injured workers, collected data and triaged the worker to the appropriate level of care based on state regulations, injury type, and severity
• I worked independently from home with frequent communication with management.

• This position provided me an opportunity to work within the community and collaborate with individuals, families and caregivers to provide, educate, adjust treatment plans and execute healthcare services based on individual client needs.

• Provided on site training to preceptor students as well as new hires
• During my time with CHI, I worked as an orthopedic staff nurse, charge nurse, and orthopedic Nurse Navigator.

• During my time at Clarkson College, I worked as both a medical surgical classroom and clinical instructor
• I was the primary Community instructor in charge of classroom lecture, theory, clinical sites, and online RN to BSN program.

• As a staff RN on a combined unit, I was able to enhance my nursing skills and gain further knowledge of my profession, the nursing process, and a variety of disease processes.

• Provided onsite training for first semester nursing students
• This was my first role which empowered me to pursue a higher education.

• I began working with Odyssey in Denver, CO & after a move to Omaha, NE, I was accepted for a linear move within the company
• I left Odyssey to pursue MSN in nursing education and enhance my knowledge and skills.
