I am a Registered Nurse with 25 plus years of experience working in a variety of settings. I began my career caring for general medical patients at the inner city hospital caring for a variety of patients experiencing illnesses including but not limited to sickle cell crisis, diabetes, general infections, pancreatitis, ETOH abuse and withdrawal, tuberculosis, cellulitis and pleural effusion with chest tube. I have built upon my knowledge and expertise over 25 years in areas including telemetry nursing, emergency nursing, critical care nursing, patient advocacy, nurse management and hospital supervising. Further, I built into my experience, that of Army nursing through serving in the United States Army Reserves which I currently serve. Following years of caring for people who are overtaken with disease, I decided to set out on a new journey to find a way to help people heal instead of being caught up in the viscous cycle of disease care. I found the perfect holistic nutrition program and have recently completed the certified holistic nutritionist program and plan to take boards as soon as possible.
