Budget Analyst responsible for formulation work for Defense Health Agency (DHA) appropriations involving preparation of detailed analysis of annual and/or multi-year budget estimates for assigned organizations/programs into a consolidated budget request. Assembles and develops background data, information and documentation to support required program budgets for reference and evidence in agency budget hearings and before the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and congressional committees. Utilizing accounting systems, Commanders' Resource Integration System (CRIS), Defense Enterprise Accounting & Management (DEAMS), General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and Financial Management Information System (FMIS) to perform strategies and procedures in accomplishing financial plan submissions, budget execution reviews, funds management and analysis, fiscal year close-out reprogramming, and oversight of all budgetary issues.

Expert for financial transactions in the Medical Planning & Programming (MPPT) for input into the Programming and Budgeting System (PPBS). Highly visible leadership role overseeing managed care and patient services at multiple military hospitals and treatment facilities throughout the U.S. Developed strategic plans in collaboration with facilities staff and commanders, participating in various team workgroups and branch meetings. Led projects streamlining the management of TRICARE Operations & Patient Administration programs throughout the Air Force Medical Service. Identified, ordered, issued, and monitored 18 Air Force Specialty Codes/445 enlisted personnel in upgrade training. Formal training manager for 785 active duty/civilian personnel. Conducted Staff Assistance Visits and weekly informal work center visits. Skilled administration consultant for an empaneled population of 11.7K beneficiaries with over 4.2K visits per year. Performed and directed patient care management functions for over 7 physicians.

Key advisor to Resource Management Officer in managing a 43M annual budget. Projected budget shortfalls and reconciled medical cost centers. Responsible for executing dynamic fiduciary guidance from Air Staff, Major Command, and Wing to include accounting budget, and proper medical spending actions. Coordinated and established quarterly training for 32 cost center mangers. Also provided oversight of a 2M annual temporary duty budget. Coordinated staff orders for a group of 608 personnel as well as all medical travel. Responsible for the maintenance and security of 608 financial records for group personnel and supporting 34 Geographically Separated Units on all medical travel.

Responsible for the maintenance and security of more than 2.3K outpatient medical records. Provided initial and semiannual training for all section personnel. Ensured unit notification of recommended suspensions were accomplished. Served as reviewer for all PRP admission, dispositions, outpatient visits, and assisted in auditing all records.
