Journaling, drawing, writing, and organizing

When I'm not caring for my grandmother's personal needs during my caretaking hours I'm needed, I try to find or at least make time for myself to recenter myself because it's important to stay grounded and maintain a good attitude and energy in order for her to feel comfortable and at ease. Therefore, I like to take time to journal my thoughts to free my mind to help me relax. I also like to sketch or doodle from time to time to tap into my creative abilities because caretaking can be daunting on one's spirit. Furthermore, I like to free write or create little poetry pieces for one's own personal entertainment. Finally, organizing is a way to ease stress, but also keep busy because I tend to get bored easily so I like to find something to do with my time when I'm not tending to my grandmother's needs or others around me if they need my help with something. Overall, I take great pride into finding time for self-care and self-love because prioritizing my own time is vital when most of the time you're catering to others yet it also brings me great joy that I'm able to be of service to others in any way I can.
