I opened up It's Nacho Time in 2022. I owned, ran, and managed the food cart business.
I collected and preserved physical evidence, photographs, digital evidence, found property, and personal safekeeping property. I maintained the chain of custody on all physical physical evidence/property entered into the Property Room. I transported and returned all evidence to the Oregon State Crime Lab on a weekly basis that required testing. I fulfilled all evidence requests from the District Attorney, City Attorney and any other Law Enforcement Agency for investigations. I fulfilled all requests from Officers and Investigators for evidence that was needed for court while maintaining the chain of custody. I assisted Detectives and Officers with search warrants and major crime call outs. I researched and investigated cases to determine if evidence could be purged from the property room. I released safekeeping property to people. I managed all photos/videos that were downloaded onto the server by Officers and Investigators. I scanned and filed all associated paperwork that went with the property/evidence. I ordered all supplies for the property room. I was dispatched to take no-suspect police reports. I investigated and wrote police reports on all no-suspect reports. If a lead surfaced on a case, I would then forward it to patrol for further follow up. I entered items into the Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS) in a timely manner. I registered sex offenders. I managed and maintained the Police Department's schedule for all Officers, Detectives and Support Staff. I assisted our Accreditation Manager when information was needed for accreditation from the Property Room. I was an active member of the Police Department's Peer Support Team. I acted as team member when coworkers needed assistance. I performed customer service to all people who would come into the Police Department. I kept current on all agency and state policies, rules, regulations and statutes.
I did Data Entry on all police reports. I scanned all police reports and stored them on the server. I fulfilled requests for police reports. I answered multI-phone lines. I entered information into the Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS) in a timely manner. I prepared police reports for the District Attorney and the City Attorney in a timely manner. I communicated with Officers when DHS/APS referrals would come in. I received subpoenas and managed a subpoena calendar for officers. I managed and maintained the work schedule for the Police Department. I organized forms, made photocopies, filed records and prepared correspondence and reports. I helped manage the alarm program, which included; sending out notices for renewal; receiving and processing renewals; sending out new permits; sending out notices for false alarms; collecting fees for renewals and false alarms; maintained information about the alarm program in an excel spreadsheet. I assisted and performed customer service with citizens that would come to the Police Department. I received money for impounded vehicles and provided necessary documentation to get the car out of impound. I assisted the Accreditation Manager when they needed information from the Records Department. I acted as a team player when other people in the department needed assistance. I maintained confidentiality in all situations that warranted it. I would deal with angry people by showing empathy and communicating with them.
I answered multi-phone lines. I received calls from multiple incoming ambulances and relayed the information to physicians and nurses in a timely manner. I helped determine where the patients would go once they arrived to the ER. I answered a 19 room patient call system and relayed the information to the patients and physicians as to what the patient needed. I ordered and coordinated all tests that were ordered by physicians for patients in the ER. I communicated with corresponding departments to get the tests done in a timely manner. I coordinated transport for patients when they needed to be transferred to another hospital for a higher level of care. I communicated and coordinated with other departments in the hospital for patients that needed to be admitted as an inpatient. I communicated with the admitting Department to ensure patient flow. I typed up all discharge instructions for patients being discharged from the ER. I worked as a team player with coworkers to maintain a cohesive work environment in high stress situations. I ordered office supplies and necessary forms for the ER. I helped develop and maintain a schedule for the Health Unit Coordinators. I adhered and maintained strict HIPPA regulations and patient confidentiality.
