Responsible for ensuring competency of pediatric pharmacists and adequate staffing coverage
Collaborate with IV room pharmacy leads to ensure compliance with USP 797 and 800
Attend daily PICU and pediatric rounds and serve as pediatric staff pharmacist as needed
Preceptor for PGY-1 pediatrics elective and PGY-2 pediatrics emergency medicine required rotation
Preceptor for Drake IPPE and APPE students
Efficient and accurate order verification skills with Cerner and previous Epic experience
Experience transitioning from Acudose to Pyxis and optimizing Pyxis medications
Pharmacist scheduler for 35 staff pharmacists to ensure daily adequate pharmacist coverage, and provide staff with a template allowing for improved work-life balance.
