Certified Adult Education Instructor- I started teaching as a substitute for the Medical Assistant program. Then accepted a teaching position for a new Pharmacy Technician Program. I had a very high success rate and was able to assist the community and students by filling the employment vacancies with qualified knowledgeable students. I worked very closely with many of the pharmacies in the area and developed good relationships and partnerships. Although this class was rewarding, my true heart was nursing. I spent 6 months preparing a curriculum for a certified Nursing Assistant program. My proposal was accepted with flying colors by the SC Adult School. I continue to work very closely with Red Cross, Department of Health Service, Santa Cruz Adult School and our community to educate, support and employee the students in my program.
