Clinic Manager
Management of two facilities. One facility is a 26 chair clinic with two shifts six days a week. The second facility is a 23 chair clinic with two shifts three days a week. I manage 20+ employees.
My responsibilities include: participating in recruiting, hiring, performance evaluations, disciplinary procedures, employee relations, maintenance and monitoring employee personnel and health files.
Ensure compliance with Federal, State, OSHA and other regulatory agencies and complete documentation as required.
Implement and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Participate in survey activities.
Analyze facility performance against budgets.
Work closely with the Medical Director to ensure optimal care for the patients including: quality improvement outcome monitoring with appropriate action plans, Identify and track infections to determine trends, care plan meetings, perform medical record audits, in-services and training, perform internal audits to ensure compliance, and ensure staff are knowledgeable of emergency procedures.
Ensure documentation on medical records are complete and in compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
Ensure adequate staff/patient ratios meet State Regulations.
Conduct regular staff meetings to develop good communication with the staff.
Ensure staff are adequately trained in procedures and knowledgeable about treatments.
Responsible for submission of data into CrownWeb and NHSN.
Participate in preparation of patient assessments and care plans in coordination with other providers as needed to assure the provision of safe care.
Maintains and submit required reports including Network reporting requirements.
Ensure equipment is maintained according to policies and regulations including preventative maintenance.
Obtain and maintain service agreements and contracts for services including agreements with Long Term Care Facilities ensuring proper care and restrictions of ESRD patients.
serve as a member of the Governing Body developing the agenda for the meeting with advance notification of schedules to the members.
Arrange Medical Staff meetings.
Oversee billing procedures at the facility level.
HIPAA contact person for the facilities.
Assist with IDT and Physician rounds.
Update and maintain survey readiness documentation.
