Work History

Founder of Bare Skin Beautiful and Aestetician

Skin Care Studio
Sag Harbor, NY
01.2016 - 08.2021
  • I fostered friendly, warm exceptional customer experiences, by assuring that each and every client felt like the most important client of the day when we were together.
  • Clientele I had established and increased over the years, was a result of relationships I had been building as a private chef and spa owner over my 20 year career in the Hamptons.
  • As an entrepreneur, chef and spa owner within a community that insists upon exceptional and beyond expectation service... it is my sincerity and attention to detail that is the foundation of my professional life and the key to my success.
  • Beauty, calm and satisfaction combined with intelligence, fortitude and talent is the hallmark of my work life.

  • Created strategies to develop and expand existing clientele sales, which resulted in a series of fun and lucrative store events
  • I developed and orchestrated a book signing with Brooke Shields, and wellness Events with Dr.Mark Hyman and Dr.Frank Lipman
  • I created a bi-weekly wellness series over Summer 2015 with a collection of nutritionists, trainers, and teachers
  • Every event executed fell within the scope and interests and passions of Donna Karan herself
  • Our store was more than fashion, it was a message and lifestyle brand
  • I did everything within my power as store manager to not only represent her ideals, but to expand and expound upon her message with deep integrity and pride
  • Communicated information to customers about product quality, value and style, I created a year-round clientele thru outreach and extremely detail oriented shopping history with each and every client, creating an atmosphere of sincerity and personal attention thus manifesting year round client retention, which grew every year
  • I successfully created and maintained 90% of the visual merchandising in the store which was over seen by Donna Karan
  • Beauty and order give me great joy, to receive the admiration and appreciation of my talent by a woman like Donna Karan was exceptional to me
  • I interviewed, hired, and trained all sales team members for 6 years, and the woman I hired as my assistant manager is still employed there to this day.

Owner/Aesthetician

Seaflower Spa
East Hampton, NY
03.1999 - 03.2008
  • As an aesthetician I opened my second floor location on Main St, in East Hampton, NY with a 20 sq ft entry/store and 3 treatment rooms
  • Within 2 years of business I expanded to a 1500 sq. ft space with a ground floor entrance which created a 300 sq.ft store and 7 treatment rooms
  • I expanded my business in a short 15 months via one thing only - customer service comprised of superior experience and product
  • As I grew I insisted to each and everyone of my employees that they treat (and realize) each and everyone of their clients is the most important person of their day
  • The hamptons is a resort area located on the east end of Long Island, 2 hours east of NYC. From May to Labor Day most business make 75% of their annual revenue during that time. As a business owner it is a daily challenge of maximizing too many and not enough opportunities to keep your business thriving and your employees supported.
  • During my "off season" I created a second career for myself as an educator on product knowledge and trainer of protocols, therefore I traveled around the nation to 4 Star spas including Hawaii, Turks and Caicos and Antigua.
  • That resulted in employment by 3 different high-end skincare companies and spas, most exciting was working for Como Shambhala resorts owned by Christina Ong
  • Research, education and sharing that information is a great passion of mine
  • I interviewed, hired, and trained every employee
  • Year-round I had a staff of 5 people, during peak summer season I had up to 18 employees
  • From my first year in business, until I sold my spa 8 years later, my annual revenues were 25% higher than the year before
  • I credit that success solely to my methodology of fearless hard work, sincerity, true love and professionalism to create a meaningful, result oriented experience as the end result for each and every client
  • I had built my client list, my reputation, and my 8 year long relationship with my landlord to create a product worth selling
  • Performed treatments and created and maintained records of treatment according to company policy.
  • Guided patients through process, explaining what to expect and how to follow up to improve results.
  • Delivered safe, therapeutic experiences to leave clients feeling relaxed and refreshed.
  • Resolved customer complaints and facilitated conflict resolutions.
  • Handled busy schedules and stayed on top of key deadlines.
  • In 2009, I sold my spa which now operates under a completely different name and platform
