Summary

I am a Registered Nurse with15 years of wide-ranging experience who is passionate about caring for our patients and fellow staff. Having worked initially as an LPN in acute care, I was driven quickly to obtain my Associate’s Degree in Nursing and take a lead in the care of my patients. My initial nursing experience included medical/surgical and critical care nursing. The last13 years have been extremely challenging as I stepped into several supervisor positions at Evans Army Community Hospital. Starting as a team lead for a Family Medicine clinic I was chosen to lead an outlying Soldier Care Clinic as the CNOIC. When the opportunity presented itself to become the assistant CNOIC of the Family Care Ward, I energetically accepted the position. I worked in the position until leaving Colorado in2022 and moving to North Carolina to take a position at Womack Army Medical Center as a Nurse Supervisor of the Hematology/Oncology Clinic. The clinic that I supervise has shifted over the years to the Cardiac Clinic, Cardiac Cath Lab and Pulmonology Clinic. I continue to oversee the hospital Vascular Access Team and maintain my certification. I have a caring, compassionate, and focus-driven attitude, and I really love my work—disciplined, energetic nurse who quickly establishes rapport with patients and colleagues. I see myself as a servant leader, placing the needs of others first and simultaneously maintaining a focus on the organization's or team's mission.

Seasoned Clinical Nurse Specialist with background in developing and implementing nursing care plans tailored to patient needs. Specialize in mentoring nursing staff on best practices, improving patient outcomes through evidence-based care, and enhancing operational efficiency within healthcare settings. Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives that increase patient satisfaction and streamline clinical procedures. Collaborative communicator skilled in interdisciplinary coordination and comprehensive patient care management.
