Moderate sedation administration in the pain room setting. Patient/nurse relationship based care, recovering patient after outpatient procedures by ensuring adequate IV hydration, vital sign stabilization, and patient education.
  • Endoscopy skills acquired, assisting MD with endoscopy procedures in an outpatient and inpatient setting including biopsies, polyp removal, control of GI bleeding, food impaction removal, esophageal dilation with use of balloon and savory dilators. Use of Tattoo supplies, clips, nets, snares (hot and cold), and Argon Gas cautery.
  • Charge Nurse and day time coordinator experience in the ambulatory setting. Duties including coordinating care for ad-on patients within the inpatient and emergency setting. Moving staff to accommodate the day, prioritizing staff for end of day coverage.
  • Education Liaison within the surgery department for endoscopy and pain clinic staff. Reviewing Joint Commission standards, hospital standards and education within the unit regarding the use of equipment, charting, and new staff orientation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft word applications and EPIC charting.
  • Management of materials for the endoscopy/Pain clinic. I maintain PAR levels of the supplies necessary for operation's within the unit.
