Special Assignments And Activities

  • McKinsey's Black Leadership Academy, completed in 2021. This six month program is designed to enhance leadership and management skills, network building, and expand the breadth and depth of knowledge in areas including strategy, operations, problem solving, talent, and more.
  • Leader in Equity, Inclusion, & Diversity, 2020-2024, Co-lead POWER at Banfield, our black associate affinity group. I partnered with others in the community more broadly to raise awareness, build relationships with strategic partners, and drive engagement and participation with our group. Our activities largely included engaging in the community, improving representation in our talent pipeline, and fostering belonging and cultural learning opportunities for our associates.
  • Liaison to St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine, 2019-2024, I oversaw the campus recruitment team for this unique school. I lead the team that creatively engaged with the students remotely and in person to drive recruitment. Additionally, I worked to build trust and stronger relationships with the faculty and administration to ensure long term success of recruitment efforts on this campus. Results include growing this campus to among the highest number of Student Job Program applications.
