Introducing Kimber Sanders History:
I was inspired to become a nurse as a little girl. Taking care of the ones I loved seemed like something that I had been doing my entire life. My family is very important to me, therefore i perused my dream in being compassion to my family as well as others. I took my dream to the next level. After graduation high school in 1993 I enrolled in class that offered the Certified Nursing Assistant program. to become a CNA. After receiving my CNA certification I worked at Manatee Memorial Hospital as a CNA/HHA as well as SunCoast Manor.
My dreams and love of the healthcare continued to grow. My next step was to enroll in college to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). I attended Manatee Technical Institute (MTI) in 2001. I graduated MTI in the year if 2002 and continued to work a the same facility that I worked at as a CNA SunCoast Manor which is now called Braden River Rehabilitation Center. I continued working there as a CNA for 16 years as a LPN. There was no question to whether I would take my education to the next level. In 2016 I took that step and attended school to become an Registered Nurse (RN).
I attended two different schools to become a RN and to finish my pre-requisitions. I started with St.Peterburg College (SPC) and finished at SunCoast Technical Institute. I took my state boards in 2018 and became a RN. I a;wp remained at Braden River as a new RN. So as you can see my professional nursing career stared at Braden River. I have given 18 years of loyalty and dedication. I am the pilar of what nursing is really all about.
