Work in Federal Branch of Gallagher Bassett on War Hazard Recovery Team. Provide documentation to law firms in pursuit of recovering monies settled with claimants. War Hazard claims involve PTSD, hearing loss, orthopedic injuries and other wartime injuries. Claimants are members of the U.S. Military as well as foreign national private military contractors. Total case load at approximately 570-580 claims.

Managed claims for coal miners assisting with monthly settlement payments, authorizations for lung care and bronchial treatments and handling of payments to claimants, their dependents and various related Federal Black Lung disease medical providers and vendors. Worked closely with law firms assisting with the Department of Labor litigation documents.

• Assisted union members with their life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment policies. Fielded questions in regards to coverage levels. Processed payments for the union members. Helped to ensure designated beneficiaries are up to date. Provided HIPPA forms and received Power of Attorney documents to upload to members’ individual policies. Reported first notice of loss when families call to inform of a claim of death or injury. Advised members whose coverage was cancelled how their policy may be reinstated by their insurance carrier. Inbound calls per day approximately 35-55.

• Supported Hilton Signature Vacations department booking airline tickets, securing offsite hotels and coordinating specialty tours for Hilton members. Assisted in helping team members with any training needs as new colleagues adjust to their new roles in the Diamond Dream Holiday / HGV Max Loyalty Vacations department.

• Supported Diamond Dream Holiday department running analytical reports to be reviewed by leadership team. Focused reports including member cancellations of bookings, reports highlighting activations that had unassigned sales leads and reports pinpointing rescheduled bookings that were moved during Covid restrictions in the travel industry. Helped reconcile monthly credit card statements for accounting. Charges reflected offsite hotel costs, airline tickets, seat upgrades, tours and excursions.

• Assisted Hilton Grand Vacations (formerly Diamond Resorts International) members with their loyalty vacation packages. Arranged resorts stays, cruise bookings, tours and various travel excursions. Managed inbound and outbound telemarketing queues building sales pipeline for future bookings. Ensured execution of loyalty vacation packages were falling within contract guidelines and time restrictions.

• Responsible for predicting manufacturing needs for Cheese Division, Desserts & Snacks, Refrigerated Ready to Eat Desserts, Jell-O, Cool Whip, dry dinners & pastas as well as Stove Top Stuffing. Reached highest level of analyst accuracies vs. peers in the East, West & South territories by solid evaluation of new products, seasonal trends, consumer taste shifts and cannibalization of flavors within product lines. Worked closely with corporate marketing team, sales management , distribution and transportation to ensure ample and efficient flow of promotional inventory at the store level for Super Bowl, baking season, Back to School, Thanksgiving and holiday builds. Key accounts focused on Wal-Mart, Kroger, Meijer and Military bases.

• Assisted sales reps and customers in helping fulfill adhesive needs in the latex, paper packaging and converting, food packaging, window, furniture and envelope industries. Managed both high viscosity liquid adhesive inventory in the Southeast as well as various resins, food starches and pressure sensitive laminate adhesives. Worked closely with sales and chemical engineers to communicate the customers’ urgency in obtaining the exact tackiness, thickness and reliability of important adhesive qualities. Key customers were Bancroft Bag, Andersen Windows, Domino Sugar, McIlhenny Tabasco, Coors Brewing, Steelcase and American Envelope.

• Joined Wal-Mart organization in their management trainee program. Learned hard lines, soft lines, merchandising, inventory and marketing strategies to succeed in the retail industry.
