Served on Art of Autism's board for nearly 6 years. Enjoyed managing the Women's History Month annual contest for them. This involved hours of dedication daily, 7 days a week for 3 months, including email contact, storing images in Google Drive, extracting essays from entrants and logging files of essays, as well as creating engaging posts daily, sometimes several a day for a month, when the submission process ended. Seeing the art and virtually meeting the participants was a lot of fun.
Contributed insight and advice to numerous Lesley college students who are going into the role of teaching kids with disabilities. My paintings hang in the college and my book is required reading in some classes.
Always available for autism consultation.
Participated in 2 documentaries with filmmaker Keri Bowers on the topic of neurodiversity.
Happiest learning and love to troubleshoot issues.
