Volunteer Work

I am deeply honored to have served in the role of Key Spouse since 2013, making a positive difference in the lives of our Air Force families. I have been fortunate through my efforts to have earned the 96th Test Wing’s Key Spouse of the Year award for 2014, 2017, and 2018. Additionally, I recently earned the 19th Airlift Wing’s Key Spouse of the 3rd Quarter and was selected as the 19th Airlift Wing's Key Spouse of the Year for 2023.

As the Key Spouse for the 19th Civil Engineer Squadron, I am honored to serve as a dedicated support system for our squadron's families. My role revolves around being a bridge between our squadron's leadership and the families, ensuring effective communication and support networks are in place.

One of my primary responsibilities is to keep families informed about squadron events, policies, and resources available to them. I regularly communicate updates from leadership, ensuring families are well-informed and connected to the resources they may need, especially during deployments or times of transition.

I strive to create a strong sense of community within our squadron by organizing various events and activities that bring families together. From social gatherings to support groups, these initiatives provide opportunities for families to connect, share experiences, and build lasting relationships.

Advocating for the needs of our squadron's families is another integral aspect of my role. By amplifying their voices and concerns, I ensure that leadership is aware of the challenges they face and work towards finding solutions to address them.

Overall, as the Key Spouse, I am committed to enhancing the well-being and resilience of our squadron's families. Through support, communication, and advocacy, I strive to foster a strong sense of community and a support network that ensures no family feels alone in their journey.
