• Order and interpret lab tests and diagnostic studies.
• Collaborate with consulting services.
• Perform consultations on patients with need for plastic surgery- make recommendations, order appropriate labs/studies and discuss operative planning with team/ on-call attending.
• Assist with wound care, including use of wound VACs, debridement and silver nitrate.
• Work closely with surgical residents, mid-level providers, patient care team and attending surgeons to optimize patient care.
• Respond to calls/emails/urgent issues from pre/post operative patients/family members/VNA.
• Clinic responsibilities: Perform pre-operative histories/physical exams/consents/photos and other appropriate preparation, provide post-op care (suture/drain/splint/wound VAC removal/casting/ tissue expander fills/ seroma aspiration/ incision and drainage).
• Attend educational sessions as able: Surgical grand rounds/ Morbidity & Mortality conference/ Plastic surgery indications conference and grand rounds.

Moonlighted for Penn Medicine on Demand and provided telemedicine for urgent patients during Covid pandemic.
