I worked as a Japanese-English medical interpreter, and they sent me to various hospitals around the D.C. area, including Georgetown University Hospital, Washington Hospital Center, Children's Hospital, and Montgomery County, Maryland, Infant and Toddler Care Division.

I assisted as an interpreter for the patient with multiple gestations. I received the request from AXA International (a Japanese insurance company); however, they did not cover the pregnancy. The patient hired me as her private interpreter.
