The type of work I have accomplish during my self-employment period has varied ranging from personal shopping/ delivery services to catering/hospitality services. During this period I have expedited and excelled at those services and maintained a positive relationship for over 50+ companies.
Beginning at Benihana (Ra Sushi Lombard (3014)) as a hostess I proceeded to become a server, during which I specialized in hospitality and team building experience. Gaining a certified trainer title and the ability to train new employees. As a Bartender, I gained alcohol service standards knowledge and certification and was nominated as a candidate for the "omotenashi" award. Soon after I was promoted to key holding manager, which included opening the restaurant and running the morning shifts, receiving certification for food allergens, liquor and food handlers. Learning Ecosures daily store standards, analyzing sales and store profit data to help better manage employee overtime elimination to aid in store profit. I was assigned head of all local marketing which included but is not limited to, creating several professional flyers for industry night events and store DJ promotion, creating custom signage for displaying store food/ drink specials. Reaching out to local restaurants, companies and organizations such as Habitat For Humanity, Canon, Pepsi Co, Comcast, Pugi Car group and many more with store specials, special event information and catering options to increase store sales and guest count.
Setting and enforcing high performance and service standards to keep consistent, high-quality environment devoted to customer satisfaction was my responsibility as banquet captain. Organizing and overseeing food service training to educate employees on resetting tables, relaying orders to cooks for private event services. Lastly, I supervised and mentored kitchen and serving staff on overseeing timeliness and quality of food delivery at high-volume private events.
