I started dancing in 2011 at the age of seven. I was enrolled into classes at Amarillo Performing Arts Center. There, I have been trained in many dance genres such as ballet, hiphop, jazz, contemporary, and modern dance. By the age of eleven, I joined the competitive dance team and won numerous awards. In 2020, I joined the Amarillo Sandie Steppers and experienced pom and drill team. As a stepper, I have won first and first runner-up for my solo along with scholarships. With hard work and determination, I became captain my senior year. During 2021, I made history by becoming the first All-State dancer from the Texas panhandle to participate in the Texas Dance Education Association (TDEA). While I was there, I got the chance to take classes with professional dancers and received a scholarship. After I graduated high school in 2022, I joined the Odessa College Blues Dance Team with a full-scholarship. My freshman year, my team and I became national hiphop champions at ADTS and NDA. I am currently dancing as a sophomore on the Blues dance team, and will be competing one last time at ADTS and NDA.
