Kiran Nair

• I shadowed at the clinic, mostly with the main physical therapists, sometimes with the assistants.
• Learned a lot about the injuries that were being dealt with, gain a little experience on evaluations, and testing for strengths and weaknesses around the injury
• Helped with greeting the patients and making sure they were comfortable in the setting.
• Helped patients with the exercises for rehabilitation.

I volunteered at an African American Society, where I helped around in the office,
organizing and cleaning for them. I also helped them with event and meeting
setup.

International Club that fortunately had a branch at my high school as well. We would help raise money for Mothers with cancer and children as well. We would campaign at places such as 6 Flags and other big attractions in our area.

I helped teach and tutored kids in elementary and middle school through an organization called Samskrita Bharati, which is a non-profit that teaches the language and history of Sanskrit around the world. I would also learn, but also teach kids whatever I had learn once I had gotten to a higher level myself.
