Kirk Perry

• Performs operation, preventive maintenance work and repair of heating, air conditioning, water systems, air compressors, air lines, sprinkler system, process equipment, plumbing, boilers, chillers, and other equipment maintained by the Collins Aerospace Building Maintenance Department.
• Removes and installs partitions, walls, ceilings, floors, equipment, duct work, piping, etc.
• Uses a variety of hand tools. Performs welding operations using electrical and acetylene torch, reads drawings common to this type of work, identifies all types of fittings, makes material estimates for repair work and material lists from drawings to complete a job.
• Works inside and outside the plant.
• Paints, prepares surfaces for painting, and applies a variety of paints, stains, varnishes and other protective coatings by brush, roller, or spray gun.
• Responsible for the care of trees and shrubs such as removing and transplanting, pruning, fertilizing, preparing solutions and spraying for insects and disease.
• Demonstrate knowledge of chemicals and safe practices in handling of chemicals.
• Capable of performing minor electrical work requiring the use of standard electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Operate and repair various equipment such as skid loaders, backhoe tractor, front end loader, etc.
• Operate and repair trucks and equipment, such as tractors, dump trucks, pick-up trucks, end loaders, backhoe, skid loader, snowplow, load-all, graders, brooms, mowers, sweepers, hand trucks, electric powered trucks Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, and to mount attachments on such equipment or trucks.

Produced and inspected plastic components using thermoformers, injection molds and 2-part adhesives.

Operated a Rotovac Thermoformers to produce refrigerator liners. I also operated extruders and grinders.

Applied epoxy paint to refrigerator cabinets. Maintained a multiple stage bonderizing process to prepare bare metal for coating application.

Assembled radio mounts for the Apache defense helicopter. Operated a "Pick and Place" machine. Also hand placed and soldered micro components using a microscope.
