  • Designed and produced a new gift card merchandising vehicle, which led to category growth of more than 20% ($60K/month), while also charging vendors for promotional space at a rate of $15K/mo

  • Developed and negotiated contracts with Pugs (now DBA SRP Retail) to bring them in as a vendor for energy shots, sunglasses, apparel and electronics
  • Negotiated the contract to make all of these items consignment based (scan based trading), which brought our on-hand inventory costs down and eliminated more than 95% of our shrink risk
  • Over $135K/yr in shrink savings on energy shots and sunglasses
  • Increased category growth by double digits in all categories by having Pugs as a DSD, scan based trading vendor
  • Resulted in Pugs winning Business Partner of the Year
  • Promotional Programs – helped develop Speedway’s promotional calendar that charges vendors for promotional space
  • Total revenue for the company was approximately $2MM per month
  • Featured space and rebates for all categories: general merchandise, candy, beverages, gift cards, etc
  • The focus is to drive sales and units, negotiating the best possible net margin, while keeping the programs reasonable for Operations to execute
  • The position was responsible for managing roughly $175 million dollars per year in sales.
