- Recognize different cuts of meat and gained knowledge of all product.
- Package, wrap, price, put items on shelf.
- Unload truck and stock cold and frozen product in depatrtment.
- Disassemble meat saw and properly clean meat room.
Deli/bakery manager
- Oversee deli/bakery emoyees.
- Hiring/training for all positions
- Making schedules
- Ordering truck for department.
- Keeping sales up, while keeping waste down.
Cake decorating
- Knowledge of signature cakes (Chantilly, german chocolate, drizzle cakes, carrot, coconut, pecan paraline,italian cream,dobage)
- Use of different icings (buttercream, whipped, cream cheese, chocolate,donut icing)
- Custom cakes (Birthday, weddings, tier cakes, fillings, king cakes, deco pac, edible image)
All other bakery items (fresh french bread, cupcakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls chocolate covered fruit etc.)
DELI CLERK
- Complete knowledge of meat slicer and how to break down and clean.
- Knowledge of all product in deli.
- Take deli catering orders (fried chicken trays, drummette trays, meat and cheese trays, sandwhich trays, vegetable trays, fruit trays)
- Keep shelves clean and fully stocked with all fresh product including date rotation.
CASHIER/CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Proper money handling.
- Learn and perfect register functions (EBT, WIC, charge accounts, etc.)
- Western union
- Lottery
- Alcohol and tobacco sales
