Critical Care Nurse in a 13 bed mixed-population ICU. Cared for veterans admitted for surgical and medical interventions. Trained to work with ventilators, CRRT dialysis machines, balloon pumps, critical drips, in-depth assessments. Also spent approximately 1 year working almost exclusively with critically ill covid-19 patients. Due to the patient population, also became practiced in managing behavioral conditions stemming from common disorders such as PTSD and substance use disorders.
