Support 30 students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)—25 of whom are English Learners (ELs)—in general education classrooms through scaffolds, small-group instruction, and assistive technology. Co-teach core subjects across grades 6–8 with a focus on inclusive, grade-level instruction tailored to individual learning needs.

• Authored 12 IEPs and supported 18 additional plans, ensuring measurable goals and 100% compliance with timelines.
• Led 8-week MTSS intervention cycles; 6 of 8 students exited Tier II based on data from iReady and Star360.
• Maintained complete and accurate academic and behavioral records in SSM for all 30 students.

Delivered inquiry-based science and social studies instruction to 120 students annually using SEPUP’s issue-based curriculum and interdisciplinary practices. Created inclusive, real-world learning experiences including museum-based fieldwork, primary source research, and current events analysis.

• Developed and led a grant-supported sex education program in partnership with Communities In Schools (CIS)
• Facilitated U.S. history units using Socratic seminars, AVID one-pagers, and gallery walks
• Differentiated instruction for students with IEPs and ELs through targeted support and team collaboration

Taught math, Earth science, and ancient civilizations to sixth graders through project-based, inquiry-focused instruction aligned with SEPUP and Eureka Math. Emphasized critical thinking, data analysis, and visual learning strategies.

• Led SEPUP-aligned Earth science investigations and engaged families in select labs
• Delivered Eureka Math instruction supported by exit tickets and weekly spiral review
• Designed artifact- and debate-based social studies lessons focused on primary source analysis

Implemented a standards-based personalized mastery model to teach 150 students over two years. Used student tracking systems and individualized goals to support math fluency and progress through IL standards.

• Guided students to progress through 1/4 of math standards per quarter using flexible grouping
• Coached 50 students in Self-Led Conferences (SLCs) to foster ownership and goal-setting
• Maintained student-updated data wall and POP-based tracking system for monitoring mastery

Designed and delivered 6 Units of Inquiry aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), encouraging student-led exploration, research, and real-world action. Emphasized global citizenship, self-assessment, and critical thinking through collaborative, inquiry-based learning.
