This opportunity allowed for a positive social change by addressing migration, how families lived, and then, compared to now, and creating a podcast around the issues of housing. Social impact interns were able to use their skills to contribute to the community for a meaningful cause. This opportunity allowed for the learning of different entry points into the Real Estate sector, how to increase diversity in the sector, as well as preparing continuing education and learning opportunities. Tasks also included Research and training in soft skills, including code-switching, LinkedIn, emotional intelligence, sending effective emails, and communications.
