I work in liver unit. I take care of transplant patients, patients with cirrhosis and liver disease and other medical surgical patients. I manage patients recovering from medical surgical procedures, perform emergency medical procedures such as BLS and ACLS, implement patient care plans after assessing physician medical regimens, and advocate to protect patient's health and safety. To be more specific, I administer PCA pumps, administer TPNs, monitor chest tubes, insert NGTs, access porta catheters and other central lines, administer blood products, do wound care and ostomy care, insert IV lines and draw blood . And I provide health education to patients and families regarding discharge instructions and plan of care.

I worked as full time floor RN in cardiology and telemetry floor for eight years. I administered cardiac drips .I assisted cardiologists for procedures like electrical cardioversions.I trained and mentored new nurses and students . I now work in outpatient procedure area. I recover and monitor patients post sedation and discharge patients providing clear verbal and written instructions. Also work in admitting area inserting IVs, evaluating immediate needs, ensuring for a foundation for effective care through accurate documentation, comprehensive health histories and patient assessment.

I worked as floor RN and also as charge RN. I took care of ventilator dependent patients, did wound nursing,hang Total parenteral nutrition, transfused blood products and read telemetry .I was part of CODE team for life threatening emergencies. I accessed portacaths, PiCC lines and other central lines.I was also preceptor and trained many nurses.

I started as floor nurse in a skilled unit. Then I became a wound nurse. I also worked in Alzheimer's unit. Then I became unit manager in a skilled unit.

I worked in ICU. I was also part of screening committee for nurse applicants. Before working in ICU, I worked in Emergency department and medical surgical unit.
