Within my private duty job I had to assist and motivate my client's to participate in daily life skills. I had to wittiness and enforce medications administration. I also had to help with assisting with use of a walker and cane. Towards the end of one of my clients life's I had to increase the level of care to meet their needs.
While I was working at Crescent Manor Nursing Home my job was to assist with mealtime and preparations, encouraged ADL's, answering call lights, take residence to their appointments, answering the phone, and leading families in the right direction to visit there relatives. I also encouraged and facilitated participation in community and recreational activities, Provided compassionate care and support to promote independence and quality of life.
My accomplishments over the years have been fairly successful. One of my goals when I graduated high school in was to become a travel nurse, In 2024 I started a 2 year program for my LPN and RN pre reps, then I decided to take a break when life got a little overwhelming. My goal now is to focus on myself and get back into college to finish my degree in nursing.
