At Amazon, I'm proud to be in the top 7% of packers, pickers, and decant. I've gained valuable experience not only in my role but also by learning new positions whenever possible. Since we don’t interact with customers, building strong relationships with my coworkers is essential. Working in a warehouse has equipped me with diverse skills, and I stay on my feet for 10 to 12 hours a day due to our fast-paced environment. Thank you!
Working at Ross Dress for Less was my first retail experience, and it was everything I needed it to be for gaining the experience and knowledge I felt I required. I learned many things about retail and sales while working at this job, including how to comfort and reassure guests in the clothing retail industry. It was a hectic and fast-paced store; every hour was busy, so I stayed on my feet, making sure I did my job accurately and efficiently.
This job taught me so many skills, just like my last. I was taught many things and trained in all areas, including the POS system. This was one of the many jobs I’ve worked while also working at another, and I was still able to maintain a balance between the two, making sure to be on time and ready to work efficiently for both.
My first job at 15 years old taught me so many skills, like how to deal with negative interactions with a positive attitude, how to handle cash safely and efficiently, while also providing great customer service, and multitasking, such as cleaning and providing great verbal communication towards our guests.
