Actively participated in outdoor and survival camps from a young age—including overnight stays at aquariums, mountain vegetable harvesting, and tent camping. Grew up close to nature, helping on family farms, fishing at sea, and attending a coastal school with a strong marine education program. Lifelong tennis player. Beyond tennis, has a self-proclaimed hobby of "hobby-hunting"—diving deep into interests like painting, number theory, ukulele, and competitive gaming, then moving on to the next curiosity.

Born to a bilingual family, raised in Japan after attending international preschool in China, studied in Canada, then transferred from Kogakuin University in Tokyo to SUNY in the U.S. after earning a scholarship. Originally aimed to transfer to a Canadian high school, but pivoted to U.S. higher education after pandemic delays. Learned to balance resilience, cultural adaptability, and strong communication across languages and disciplines.
Now aiming to become a technologist who blends technical skills with global awareness and strong interpersonal communication.
