Kobe Gilliam

I joined the State of Michigan after the COVID-19 lockdown. I started on night shifts which shows my commitment to a job despite clear negative aspects of said position. Then after a year on nights I shifted to day shift. During both day and night shifts I have operated a number of different kinds of machinery all to please our customers and get their orders to them on time and without hassel. I have learned to operate a multitude of different printers and different kinds of machinery such as a large paper cutter, a shrink wrapper, a laminator, glue padding machine, envelope press, and a paper folder. This shows that I have a high capacity for learning and am willing and able to learn any new skill and adapt to anything thrown at me. I also have to work with a team of other print operators and other members of different departments in order to get our print order out. I am also able to keep a cool head when a customer enviably complains about an order either being done wrong or being late. I have also on multiple occasions stayed late or worker overtime over a long period of time because our work had been hit with a multitude of work in a short period of time.
