  • Created lesson plans involving the basics of cancer/ immunology while using a fairly new database called CEDAR
  • Examined patterns shared by autoimmune diseases and even predict which epitopes will cause future outbreaks. The data we collect will be crafted into a proposal for a possible cancer vaccine.
  • Plan on collaborating with some physicians at the Mayo Clinic to share information about our lesson plans.

  • Collaborated to synthesize the DNA of 2 different species of Hemlock located in the upper Midwestern United States
  • Through a series of PCR trials with 100 samples of each species, we were able to decipher which Hemlock species was the most endangered and how we can manipulate the DNA in order to restore its natural population.
  • Was a project partnered with the University of Minnesota and was a conservation effort to find was to protect endangered species of Hemlock Trees in the Northwestern United States.
